Track every update and improvement
v2.1.1 · Hotfix
Latest2026-08-08
Added
- Parameter Control · Edit: rename a parameter and change the group it sits in, in one action. Leave the name blank and only the group moves, in place, with no values touched
- Parameter Control · Change Group: set the group on a whole selection at once, including groups the previous release could not offer, such as Visibility, Photometrics and Title Text
- Check Levels · Offset: the "Spacing" field became "Offset" and accepts negative values, so a new level can build downward for basements and site work. Zero is still rejected, and the field now opens on a round number in the unit you work in, 10' on imperial projects and 3 m on metric ones, instead of a literal conversion
Changed
- The parameter template now arrives empty, with no sample row, and carries drop-downs on the six fixed-value columns. Templates made with the previous release still import
- The installer registers as "B45 Labs | Coordination" in the Windows list of installed apps
Fixed
- PDF export threw on every run on Revit 2023 and 2024: App Store security pins moved four bundled Microsoft libraries to a newer major version, and .NET Framework does not roll forward, so the add-in now supplies the matching copy itself. Revit 2025 and newer were never affected
- Check Levels flagged ELEV. DIFF on linked levels sitting at the same elevation. Levels within 1/16 in now read as the same level, and a difference too small for the displayed precision reports in inches or millimetres instead of zero
- Renaming a parameter moved it to the Data group on non-English Revit (Portuguese, Spanish, French and Russian)
- Check Annotations dropped the duplicate-tag count outside English
- Status and state colours now come from the theme palette, which fixes Light theme legibility and the selected queued row in Check Spaces
- Check Spelling always opened on English (US) and now opens on your language
- Check Spelling's right-click menu and tick-box column render correctly again
- Importing a spreadsheet still open in Excel failed with a file-in-use error
- 77 strings that had fallen back to English are now translated
Notes
- Hotfix: a repair release for 2.1.0
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027
v2.1.0
2026-08-02
Added
- Check Walls · Visual Analysis — paint the walls in your model by Base Level, Wall Type, Workset, Phase Created, Phase Demolished, Function, Structural or Problems, with a generated colour palette, presets, colour pinning, a transparency slider, an on-screen legend and a Reset. Colours show in plans and sections, not only in 3D
- Check Walls · Schedule Filters — the single Level dropdown became seven combinable dimensions, and multi-selecting in the grid or the legend selects exactly those walls in the model
- Branded Excel and PDF reports across Check Coordinates, Check Model Health, Check Parameters, Export Worksets, Model Progress, Clash Report Converter and Model Report Card — set your company name, accent colour and logo once in User Profile and every report carries them
- Check Model Health — a Diagnostics dashboard with a warnings triage bar (Critical, Important, Noise, Uncatalogued) and Model Size contributor bars showing what weighs around the model
- Parameter Control · Cleanup — groups parameters that share a name, shows what each one holds, and consolidates them onto a single survivor instead of just deleting the extras
- Check and Upgrade Model Version — a shared Rename panel with prefix, suffix and find-and-replace, buttons to add files after opening, and an overwrite guard that confirms every file about to be saved over its own source
- Contextual F1 help — press F1 on a ribbon button, inside an open window, or on a split-button header, and that command's documentation page opens
- Type-ahead in every list — click any list or grid and start typing to jump to the match
- Sync Sheet Issue Date · Stamp mode — type an issue date and an optional first-issue date, so a first delivery with no revisions can still be stamped
Improved
- One visual identity — the B45 letterhead now heads every window and dialog, and "Content Browser" is called "Library" everywhere, in all five languages
- Notifications — progress and completion share one corner of the monitor running Revit, so an operation visibly finishes into its own message
- Generated files default to a B45_ name prefix, so exports group together in your Downloads folder
- Sheet Navigator — dock the palette to the ViewCube or any corner, a new Home button that zooms to fit, and it reopens docked next session
- 124 strings that silently fell back to English are now translated in Portuguese, Spanish, French and Russian
Fixed
- Copy Project Parameters crashed on every run on Revit 2025 and newer
- Check Coordinates — the results window failed to open at all, and PDF export never worked on any command because the required fonts were never resolved
- Parameter Control — export then import into the next project now actually works, consolidating no longer destroys schedule columns, and operations identify a parameter by identity instead of by name
- Check Walls — Reset clears every colour, including paint left by an earlier session, and selecting a legend colour no longer yanks you out to the 3D view
- Multi-monitor — notifications, update prompts and ribbon dropdowns now appear on the monitor running Revit instead of always the primary display
Notes
- Revit starts faster — the usage database no longer initialises on the startup path, measured at 65-88% of the add-in's entire startup cost
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027
v2.0.3 · Hotfix
2026-07-20
Added
- Model Size — a new tool that pinpoints what's inflating your model's file size and deletes unused families in one click, built into a refreshed Check Model Health
Improved
- Interface refresh — cleaner, more consistent buttons and dialogs across the whole suite, tuned for both dark and light themes
- Check Spaces — now modeless: keep working in Revit while it's open
- Create Sheets — a resizable Target Models panel and a cleaner layout
- Place on Existing Sheet — click anywhere on a preview header to collapse it, plus layout refinements
- Parameter Control — the category picker is resizable, with a clearer list and a "Show only selected" toggle
- Sheet Navigator — smoother fade-in, and it remembers its last position
Fixed
- Copy & Place Detail Sheets — reliable on large models now: progressive commit, better view-tab handling, and no freeze when placing viewports
- Light theme — hard-to-read text and near-invisible button borders fixed across many windows (including the Resize Clash Spheres value field)
- Clear View (Preserve Links) — correctly restores each link's visibility state
- Check Parameters — the Summary table can be resized by its bottom grip again
- Find — the Find / Previous / Next buttons no longer clip at the window edge
- Check Coordinates — the "unconfigured coordinates" notice no longer needs a scrollbar
Notes
- Hotfix — an interface and reliability follow-up
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027
v2.0.2 · Hotfix
2026-07-13
Added
- Apple-style notifications — routine, non-blocking messages now appear as clean floating toasts in the corner of Revit, with a subtle slide-in and auto-dismiss, instead of interrupting your work with a dialog
Improved
- Light-theme selection, redesigned — selected rows use a clear accent-blue highlight with white text, readable across ~35 windows (View / Element / Warnings Breakdown, Check Parameters results, and more)
- Parameter Control — renaming a parameter now preserves its values (including on grouped elements) and keeps it working in schedules and filters; the Rename / Replace dialog follows your theme
- Check Parameters — refresh a single tab or everything, an opt-in Select-in-model, Ctrl+Enter fill-down, and an in-window Excel import with a corrected preview
- Check Walls — grid combo and numeric cells are now fully editable
- Faster startup — the update check no longer blocks the splash path, and the critical-update lock is airtight
- Settings, reorganized — the Visible Modules launcher moved to the end of the Revit Settings panel and now reads "Settings"
- Window polish — standardized 32×32 chrome buttons and a unified 1px accent divider across the sheet-command windows
Fixed
- Light theme — dark text on blue accent buttons (Check Model Health), invisible secondary-button hover text, and an invisible toast close button
- The selection checkbox now stays visible on selected rows
- Corrected stale PayPal references — donations are handled through Stripe
Notes
- Hotfix — a polish-and-performance follow-up to the 2.0.0 launch
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027
v2.0.1 · Hotfix
2026-07-10
Fixed

- More reliable light/dark theme and language sync across products

- Plugin Info — cleaner version display, plus general stability fixes
Notes
- Hotfix polishing the 2.0.0 launch
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027
v2.0.0
2026-07-08
Added
- B45 Labs is now B45 Labs · Coordination — and this is the biggest release we have ever shipped. It also marks the start of the B45 Labs product line: B45 Library ships separately, and B45 Connect is on the way
- Check Spaces, Check Areas, Check Annotations, and Check Monitored Elements — a wave of new QA/QC tools for spaces, areas, tag coverage, and Copy/Monitor relationships
- Sheet & View Navigator — a modeless palette to step Previous / Next / Parent Sheet in Project Browser order, with Page Up / Page Down navigation on the canvas
- Import Parameters from Excel — round-trips with Check Parameters: edit in a spreadsheet, preview grouped by element, and write values back
- Multi-language interface — English, Português (BR), Español, Français, and Русский, with a new unified Change Language picker (ribbon updates live)
- Live theme system — every window can follow Revit light/dark UI in real time

Changed
- Create Sheets reimagined — modeless, one sheet list across multiple open models, Print Sets, sheet-parameter columns, and a redesigned Excel template
- Check Parameters — edit instance and type parameter values right in the grid and write them back

- "Select in model" is now opt-in, and update notifications are tiered — a gentle toast for routine updates, a modal only when it matters
- Ribbon refresh and a suite-wide visual consistency pass — unified dark dropdowns and checkboxes, reworked scrollbars, and a light-theme legibility sweep
Fixed
- Fixed a crash on Revit shutdown when copying/placing sheets, and a freeze when changing theme or canvas color
- Room tags in Check Annotations no longer all report as "Untagged"
- Check Model Health reads correctly in non-English Revit; the correct default 3D view is used in workshared models
Security
- Consent-based, opt-out telemetry — local profile encrypted at rest (DPAPI) and file paths stripped from diagnostics
- Data minimization — no more operating-system or hardware environment data collected; right to erasure built in
- Hardened auto-update supply chain — signed manifests with replay protection
Notes
- Full support: Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027
- The four non-English languages ship as BETA — AI-assisted drafts. If a translation reads wrong, email support@b45labs.com with the command name, the current text, and your suggested wording.
