Clear Model Progress History
Overview
Clear Model Progress History permanently deletes every progress snapshot stored in the active model. Use it to reset the history when a project moves into a new phase or when old baselines are no longer relevant. It counts the stored snapshots, asks for confirmation through a danger-styled prompt, then removes them inside a single transaction and reports how many were deleted. It is the third step of the snapshot -> compare -> clear cycle.
How to use
- In the B45 Labs | Coordination tab, open the Analytics panel and click Clear Model Progress History.
- If the model has no snapshots, the command says so and stops.
- Read the confirmation prompt, which states how many snapshots will be removed.
- Confirm to delete them, or cancel to keep the history intact.
- The command reports how many snapshots were deleted.
Tips & Notes
- Run Compare Model Progress and export to Excel first if you want an off-model record before wiping the history.
- Clearing is the clean way to start a fresh baseline for a new phase without stale snapshots skewing the deltas.
Limitations
- Deletion is permanent once the model is saved and cannot be undone.
- The active document must be writable.
