Clear View — Without Links

Clear View — Without Links resets the active view to the same clean state as the Preserve Links variant, then hides every Revit Link instance in the view via element-level Hide-in-View — leaving a host-model-only view. The reset un-hides manually hidden elements and model groups, shows model categories while hiding annotation, analytical, import/CAD, raster and reference-point categories, and clears scope box, section box and crop. The links stay loaded in the project; they are only hidden in this one view, and nothing is deleted.

1. Open the view you want to reset, then in the B45 Labs | Coordination tab open the Model Management panel and click Clear View — Without Links.
2. If the view has a View Template, respond to the template prompt — the command aborts rather than edit a template that is not in Temporary View Properties mode.
3. It performs the same clean-up as Preserve Links: un-hide manual hides, show model categories, hide annotation / analytical / import categories, and reset scope box, section box and crop.
4. Every Revit Link instance still visible is then hidden in the view via element-level Hide-in-View.
5. The view zooms to fit, leaving only host-model content.

• Use it to get a host-model-only view for native-model review or a clean export, without unloading or removing the links.
• It reads the current link instances on each pass, so links added to the project after you run it are not affected.
• Like Preserve Links, it runs up to four passes so nested hidden groups are also cleared.
