Reset Monitored Elements

Reset Monitored Elements restores the graphic overrides that Check Monitored Elements' Paint in View remembered during the current Revit session. It drains a document-scoped cache of (view, element) overrides in a single transaction — re-applying each element's original override, including an empty one, which effectively clears the highlight — so the whole restore is one undoable step. If nothing was painted, it tells you there is nothing to reset. It runs silently on success.

1. After highlighting monitored elements with Check Monitored Elements' Paint in View, open the Monitored Elements split button in the QA/QC panel (B45 Labs | Coordination tab).
2. Choose Reset Monitored Elements from the split.
3. Every override applied to monitored elements in this session is restored to its original state in a single undoable step. If nothing was painted, it reports that there are no overrides to reset.

• It is the ribbon equivalent of the in-window Reset Overrides button — use whichever is closer to hand.
• Because it restores in one transaction, a single Undo re-applies the highlight if you reset by mistake.
