Reset Painted Elements

Reset Painted Elements undoes the highlight that Check Painted Elements' "Apply graphic highlight" applied. It walks every face highlighted during this Revit session and restores it to the paint it had before — repainting the original material, or removing paint entirely where the face had none. It deliberately leaves any Temporary Isolate in place (you may be isolating on purpose) and never touches group members. It runs silently on success.

1. After highlighting painted faces with Check Painted Elements, open the Painted Elements split button in the Model Management panel (B45 Labs | Coordination tab).
2. Choose Reset Painted Elements from the split.
3. Every face highlighted in this session is restored to its original paint — the highlight material is removed and any pre-existing paint is put back.
4. If you also used the Isolate procedure, run Revit's Show All / Reveal Hidden Elements to leave the temporary isolate; Reset does not cancel it by design.

• Run it before publishing or printing so the temporary highlight material never appears on your output.
• It only reverses the B45 highlight — genuine user-applied paint is untouched, so it is safe to run at any time. To strip real paint from the model, use Clear Painted Elements in the Model Management panel.
