    Resize Clash Spheres

    Overview

Resize Clash Spheres sets the radius of the Clash_Sphere markers placed by Clash Map to an exact value. Choose a scope — all spheres, only those in a chosen Phase, or only those of a chosen Status — set the target radius in the project's length unit, and the tool writes that radius to the Raio type parameter of each distinct sphere type in scope. Because it edits the type, every sphere sharing that type updates at once. A live count shows how many spheres the current scope matches before you apply.

    How to use

    1. After running Clash Map, in the B45 Labs | Coordination tab open the Clash Analysis panel and click Resize Clash Spheres.
    2. Choose the scope: All, by Phase, or by Status. Picking Phase or Status reveals a second dropdown to select which one.
    3. Set the target radius with the slider or by typing an exact value in the box — shown in millimeters or inches to match your project units.
    4. Check the sphere count for the current scope, then click Apply. The matching sphere types are updated to the new radius.

    Tips & Notes

    • The value is an absolute radius, not a scale factor — every matching sphere ends up at exactly the size you set, regardless of its current size.
    • Scope by Status to size one category of clash (for example, make Active spheres larger) without touching the rest.
    • Metric snaps to clean 50 mm steps; imperial leaves the slider free so you can type a precise inch value.
    • On a clean run there is no dialog; a summary appears only if a sphere type could not be updated (for example a read-only Raio parameter).

    Limitations

    • It resizes existing Clash_Sphere instances; it does not create spheres — run Clash Map first.
    • Sizing relies on the family's Raio type parameter; a type missing that parameter, or where it is read-only, is skipped and reported.
    • Read-only documents are rejected before the dialog opens.
