Change Revit Language

Change Language opens a single picker that controls two independent settings: the Revit UI language and the B45 Labs plugin language. Pick a plugin language and it applies live — the ribbon captions and any open B45 Labs window re-translate on the spot, with no restart. Pick a different Revit UI language and Revit itself must relaunch with the /language switch, so the tool first offers to save your open models, then restarts Revit in the chosen language. A Match Revit language checkbox (on by default) keeps the plugin mirroring Revit; turn it off to set the plugin language on its own.

1. In the B45 Labs | Coordination tab, open the Revit Settings panel and click Change Language.
2. In the picker, choose the Revit UI language and the B45 Labs plugin language — each language name is shown in its own language so the choice is self-evident.
3. Leave Match Revit language ticked to keep the plugin mirroring Revit, or untick it to pick the plugin language independently.
4. Confirm your selection. If only the plugin language changed, the ribbon and any open B45 windows re-translate immediately and nothing restarts.
5. If you changed the Revit UI language, choose Save all, Discard all, or Cancel when prompted; Save all writes every modified, non-linked model before Revit relaunches in the new language.

• Changing only the plugin language never touches your models or your Revit session — it is instant and reversible.
• The plugin language preference is shared across installed B45 products, so setting it once relabels Coordination, Library, and any other B45 product together.
• The Revit language switch relaunches Revit; the matching Autodesk language pack must already be installed, and the tool warns you if its locale folder is missing next to Revit.exe.
