Move Views

Move Views & Elements relocates the items you select on the active sheet to another sheet, removing them from the source. It handles viewports (the placed view moves to the new sheet), placed schedules, and any view-specific sheet annotation — text, tags, revision clouds, detail items, images — while always skipping the title block. You run it from a sheet: select the items (or pick them when prompted), choose the destination sheet, and everything moves in one pass.

1. Open the source sheet, then in the B45 Labs | Coordination tab, open the Documentation panel and click Move Views & Elements — the button is only enabled on a sheet view.
2. Select the viewports, schedules, and annotations to move before launching, or pick them on the sheet when the command prompts.
3. Choose the target sheet from the picker.
4. The items are removed from the source sheet and placed on the target, which is activated automatically.
5. If anything could not be moved, a report lists what was skipped and why; a clean move shows no dialog.

• Title blocks are never moved — only the content on the sheet — so the source sheet keeps its frame.
• Viewports and schedules are moved by delete-and-recreate with an automatic rollback if the target rejects them, so a failed item is restored in place rather than lost.
• Reach for Copy to Another Sheet when you want to duplicate instead of relocate — Move takes the content off the source, Copy leaves it there.
