    Project Base Point (BP)

    Overview

Project Base Point (BP) toggles the visibility of the Project Base Point in the active view. The Project Base Point defines the origin of the project coordinate system, and this command flips its Site subcategory between shown and hidden in a single transaction, un-hiding the parent Site category first if needed. It changes visibility only and does not move the point.

    How to use

    1. Open a model view — plan, section, elevation, 3D, or drafting view (sheets and schedules are not supported).
    2. In the B45 Labs | Coordination tab, open the Model Management panel and click Project Base Point (BP).
    3. The Project Base Point's visibility flips in the active view; run the command again to switch it back.

    Tips & Notes

    • Pair it with Get Element Coordinates when checking project coordinates — that tool reports the Project values measured from the Project Base Point.

    Limitations

    • Visibility only — it does not move or modify the Project Base Point.
    • Affects the active view only.
